Antonio Leanza was born in Italy and formerly trained as a photographer at The University of Architecture in Venice. In 1984 he moved to London, where he graduated with an MA at The School of Media of The London College of Communication and started to work as a freelance photographer.
Since then his work has been published and exhibited worldwide.

His photographic assignments include Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of England for COT (College of Occupational Therapist), CPC Food, Elexon, Bruce Beresford, The Agathin Cult in Sicily and various educational institutions.
In the last ten years he has been a visiting tutor at The School of Media of The University of The Arts London and has taught digital imaging for Ilford Film throughout the UK.
 
He is the founder and director of The London School of Photography in Mayfair Central London, where he runs photography workshops and short courses in Digital Photography, Photojournalism, Travel and Basic Photography.
